My name is Macarena Aguilar Tau (aka MAQ), I am a music teacher with a degree in orchestral conducting. I work in different artistic and academic fields of music and sound art. I teach undergraduate and graduate courses at the University and privately in my own workshops. I have published and exhibited my research in national and international events. I have created sound design works for dance, performance, and theater. I have musicalized films, short films, podcasts, installations and virtual reality. I have presented my music at festivals, exhibitions and concerts. I have also conducted ensembles and orchestras in renowned theaters and auditoriums.
